Welcome to the CommuniCup Team Edition tournament for Guilty Gear Strive!

Grab your friends and become the most overpowered team in Europe!


Rules

All players need to join the 2BCU Discord server (https://discord.gg/4KnEZDF)


  • Tournament platform: PC (Steam)
  • Download Region: UK - Manchester
  • Team size: 3 players
  • Format: League -> Player A vs Player A, B vs B, C vs C; team that wins 2 matches wins.
  • Match: First to 2 wins
  • Rounds: First to 2 wins (2/3)
  • Round timer: Standard
  • Characters: All characters allowed (this includes Goldlewis)
  • Characters duplicate: Allowed. (Team can consist of 3x the same character)
  • After a match the loser can switch characters. The winner must keep playing the same character!
  • In case of a disconnect, the disconnecting player loses the current round. If this does not end the current match, recreate the super meter gauges as identical to the round the disconnected happened as possible.

Format example:

Team 1 Player A > Team 2 Player A

Team 1 Player B < Team 2 Player B

Team 1 Player C > Team 2 Player C


Team 1 wins 2:1 against Team 2

The tournament is open to the following countries:

Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus (Republic of Cyprus), Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City


In addition players living in European parts of these trans-continental countries are also permitted to play in the tournament:

  • Kazakhstan (cut-off point is along A-28 National Highway from Uralsk to Atyrau, everything west of it is considered to be in Europe)
  • Russia (cut-off point is along the Ural mountain chain, everything west of it is considered to be in Europe)
  • Turkey (cut-off point is Istanbul/the Bosporus strait, everything to the north-west of Istanbul is considered to be in Europe)
